Employment Visa
A company must ensure that all its employees are legally authorized to work in the UAE by holding a valid employment residence visa, an identity card, or the appropriate work approval. Employees are generally required to have an employment residence visa issued by the relevant authority, unless they are sponsored by a spouse, parent, or are GCC nationals, in which case an identity card is issued. Employment residence visas are typically valid for 1 to 2 years.
The residence visa allows employees to live and work legally in the UAE for the duration of its validity. This process ensures compliance with UAE labor and immigration regulations. Visas can be issued to individuals applying from within the country or from abroad.

Key Steps Include:

Upon Arrival

Local Mobile Number
At the airport, please arrange to buy a UAE SIM card with a local number (if not available yet). We would recommend going with “Etisalat” and buying the “postpaid monthly” plan.
You will need a UAE phone number so please ensure to save the number (e.g. take a photo of the receipt with the number printed on it and share with us).

Medical Test
You will need to have a medical test in Dubai, where a blood test and X-ray will be taken. Please remember to take your passport, entry permit paper & electronic version of your passport photo.
If we apply for VIP service, the test results will be processed and be available within 30 minutes.

Emirates ID & Biometrics
Once you receive your medical test, we will request to book an appointment to obtain your emirates ID. We will set an appointment for biometrics (for fingerprints) and provide an EID registration form which will need to be printed and taken to the appointment.

Completion & Collection
Once biometrics approval and the EID registration form is stamped, immigration will process your application and print your Emirates ID.
We will arrange to collect your Emirates ID and if you have left the country, send it to your home country via DHL.
Investor Visa
Through a Company in the UAE
An Investor Visa allows individuals to live in the UAE while owning or investing in a company. It is one of the most common residency options for business owners and entrepreneurs.
1. Eligibility
- Must own a certain percentage of shares (typically 10%+) in a UAE-based company.
- Applicable for mainland companies, Free Zone companies, or LLCs, depending on the jurisdiction.
2. Validity
- Valid for 3 years.
- Renewable upon maintaining business ownership and other requirements.
3. Benefits
- Legal residence for investor and family (spouse/children).
- Ability to sponsor dependents.
- Freedom to manage business without employment visa.
